ABOUT GESHE NYIMA TAMANG
I was born in the village of Kaleshwor in the Lalitpur district of Batase Danda, southeast of Kathmandu in 1972. I became a monk at the age of 16 and entered the Gaden Jangtse Monastery in Mundgod, South India in 1990. I received my Geshe Degree (Doctorate in Buddhist Philosophy) in 2009 at the age of 37.
